Eligibility Criteria
Nationality:
• A candidate must be a citizen of India
• With the consent of the Central Government signified in writing, subjects of Nepal or Bhutan may also be appointed
• Sex: Both Male and Female candidates are eligible for appointment to the post of Assistant Commandants
Educational Qualification:
• A candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree of a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India
• OR from educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament
• OR declared to be deemed as a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956
• OR possess an equivalent qualification
• Candidates who have appeared at an examination the passing of which would render them educationally qualified but have not been informed of the results will also be eligible
• Candidates who intend to appear at such a qualifying examination in the year 2026 will also be eligible
• However, qualified candidates must produce proof of passing the requisite qualifying examination (Degree Certificate/Final Mark Sheet/Provisional Degree Certificate) within the time limit prescribed in the Rules
• Degree/Post Graduate/Diploma qualifications acquired through distance learning/part-time are NOT considered.

Salary
Post : Assistant Commandants (Group A) in Central Armed Police Forces.

• Candidates will receive salary and allowances as per Government of India rules applicable to Group A officers in Central Armed Police Forces.
