Indian Army has released the official notification for SSC Technical Men Recruitment 2026 for the 7th SSC Technical Jawan batch. A total of 350 vacancies have been announced. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online through the official Join Indian Army website.
The online application process will begin on 07 January 2026 and will continue until 05 February 2026. To be eligible, candidates must be between 20 and 27 years of age as on the prescribed date. | Eligibility Criteria |
| • Candidates must possess a B.E./B.Tech degree in the specified Engineering disciplines from a recognized University or Institution established under an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India. Degrees awarded by institutions recognized under the UGC Act, 1956; IIT Act, 1961; AICTE Act, 1987; NITSER Act, 2007; and IIIT Act, 2024, including deemed and autonomous universities, are acceptable. Final Year Students: • Candidates who are in the final year of their Engineering degree are also eligible to apply. Such candidates must submit proof of passing the Engineering Degree Examination along with marksheets of all semesters/years by 01 October 2026, and produce the Engineering Degree Certificate within 12 weeks from the commencement of training at PCTA. Important Note: • Candidates who have obtained their Engineering degree from foreign universities or institutions are not eligible to apply for this course. Stream Requirement: • Only those Engineering streams and their acceptable equivalent streams, as strictly mentioned in the official notification, will be considered. Any discrepancy between the Engineering stream mentioned on the degree certificate/marksheet and the online application form will lead to cancellation of candidature. • For complete eligibility details, candidates are advised to refer to the official notification. |
