| Eligibility Criteria |
| • For the Secondary Teacher (Class 8–10, Paper-I) post, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject with a minimum of 50% marks, along with a B.Ed. degree. • For the Senior Secondary Teacher (Class 11–12, Paper-II) post, candidates are required to have a Postgraduate degree in the concerned subject with at least Second Division, along with a B.Ed. degree. However, a B.Ed. is not mandatory for Computer Science candidates. • Applicants belonging to SC/ST/EBC/BC/Divyang categories are eligible for a 5% relaxation in qualifying marks. • For complete eligibility details, candidates are advised to read the official notification carefully. |

| • For Secondary Teachers in Bihar (2025), the starting basic pay is ₹44,900. With a grade pay of ₹4,200, the total monthly salary ranges from ₹50,000 to ₹55,000, inclusive of allowances. • For Senior Secondary Teachers, the basic pay begins at ₹47,600 along with a grade pay of ₹4,800. The overall monthly salary falls between ₹52,000 and ₹58,000. • The salary structure includes Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and other applicable government allowances. |
