Andhra Pradesh Medical Services Recruitment Board (APMSRB) has released the official notification for APMSRB Assistant Professor Recruitment 2026. A total of 220 vacancies have been announced for the post of Assistant Professor. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online through the official APMSRB website.
The online application process will start on 08 January 2026 and will continue until 22 January 2026. Applicants must be between 18 and 42 years of age as per the prescribed eligibility criteria.

| Eligibility Criteria |
| • Assistant Professor (Clinical & Non-Clinical): Candidates must possess a Postgraduate degree (MD/MS/DNB) in the relevant specialty from institutions recognized by MCI/NMC. • Assistant Professor (Super Specialty): Candidates should hold a Postgraduate degree (DNB/DrNB/DM/MCh) in the concerned super specialty from institutions recognized by MCI/NMC. • Applicants must have acquired the prescribed academic qualifications on or before 01 January 2026, the date of notification. • Candidates applying for Clinical and Non-Clinical posts must have completed one year of Senior Residency from a recognized institution after obtaining the required qualification. • Senior Residency is not mandatory for Super Specialty posts. • Candidates who have completed DNB from institutions not recognized by NMC are required to complete one additional year of Senior Residency. • For detailed eligibility information, candidates are advised to refer to the official notification. |
